My name is Brian Flanigan and Flagenbush is a childhood nickname that has become my trademark. So, Flagenbush is a trademarked brand, not a company. My company's name is Midas Touch Consulting Corp and I have been in business since November of 2000 as a solo consultant in scientific and technical services. I still intermittently work as a consultant, particularly in precious metals exploration.

Sometimes when people ask me what I do I really don't know what to say. I do a lot of different things. Flagenbush speakers are the culmination of a lifetime of gathered skills, knowlege and interests: Woodworking, electronics, photography, computer drafting and modeling, science and mathematics and the list goes on and on. I even had to invent some of my own tools for construction of my speaker cabinets. What do I do? Well, I guess you could say I am a Jack of all trades and I might be mastering some.

It has been quite the journey to get here, finally fulfilling a dream that started in my friend Kieran's basement as early as 1978, listening to music on his Pioneer SX550 receiver and reading "Stereo Review" and "Audiophile" magazines.

In 2008 my Flagenbush brand high end speaker creation endeavor began. It started as a DIY project as I was determined to finally create my dream speaker pair (because nothing on the market would fit my desires). After successful completion of Dionysus and Lil' Dion in July 2009 I decided that there might be a small market for matching home theater ensemble speakers and the other models followed along with some crossover improvements of the first two pair.

I now have 6 truly high end models completed and the time has come for me to share them with you.

Midas Touch Consulting Corp was founded in Fairbanks, Alaska and legally registered on November 20, 2000. In May of 2011 the physical address moved to Aurora, Indiana where the corporation is now legally registered.
